Position Overview
The Website Designer at Vinnie Mac Restoration Marketing will create stunning, high-converting websites for water damage, fire, and mold restoration contractors across the country. You'll be responsible for designing visually compelling, mobile-first WordPress websites using Elementor that not only look amazing but drive real results for our clients. This role is all about exceptional design, user experience, and conversion optimization—turning visitors into leads for restoration companies that help homeowners in their time of need.
Job Responsibilities
Website Design & Development:
- Design and build beautiful, conversion-focused websites on WordPress using Elementor
- Create fresh, modern designs that stand out in the restoration industry
- Design custom landing pages for marketing campaigns
- Ensure all websites are fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices
- Implement strategic conversion elements (CTAs, forms, trust signals) throughout designs
- Maintain and update existing client websites as needed
Design & Creative Work:
- Develop visual concepts and mockups using Figma and Canva
- Create graphics, icons, and visual elements that enhance website aesthetics
- Maintain brand consistency across all client projects
- Stay current with modern design trends and best practices
Efficiency & Innovation:
- Leverage AI tools to streamline design workflows and accelerate project timelines
- Build and maintain reusable design templates and components
- Continuously improve processes for faster, high-quality website delivery
Team Collaboration:
- Communicate daily with the team on project progress
- Attend daily huddle for status updates
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure cohesive client strategies
Key Requirements
Design Skills:
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional web design work
- Proven ability to create visually stunning, modern website designs
- Deep understanding of conversion optimization and user experience (UX) principles
- Eye for typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Mobile-first design mentality
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with WordPress and Elementor (required)
- Experience with Figma and Canva
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor customizations
- Familiarity with AI design and productivity tools
- Understanding of responsive design principles
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet deadlines
